Updates from the Veterans History Project (VHP): Jewish American Veteran Featured in the “Story of the Century” – Dispatch May 9, 2017

Commemorating Jewish American Heritage Month, the Veterans History Project published a blog post centered on World War II veteran Burton Schuman. As head cartographer of the 100th Infantry, the U.S. Army’s “Century” Division, Schuman’s “story of The Century” follows his journey from art school through his firsthand discovery of the genocide directed towards fellow Jews.
