States Mr. Piper had a positive influence on morale at Ormsby Village. Talks about kindness of different cottage mothers and their families. Discusses daily routine at Ormsby Village. Discusses differential treatment according to gender, i.e. different duties that were assigned and difference in punishment for running away. Discusses scholarships, funding and loans provided by Ormsby Village to graduates to attend college. Talks about her involvement in musical programs and about being yearbook editor.
