Ward of the County - Resident of Ormsby Village, 1935 - 1943. Children made fun of her for having crossed eyes. Describes a typical day at Ormbsy Village, living conditions and routines in cottages and extra curricular activities, music and organized sports. Talks about schools and teachers and availability of religious services.
