Mr. Marshall recalls Latonia Jockey Club Race Track, describes the entrance area to the grandstand, remembers the entrance fee to the grandstand, young boys around the track: talks about residents of Latonia renting rooms or their homes to jockeys,trainers and horse owners: speaks of the businesses around Ritte's Corner: tells stories about jockeys and trainers: reminisces about the track kitchens, names some of the individuals that operated them, food served. Marshall also recall his personal experiences as a hot walker, receiving horses and handling them at the railroad, modes of dress, race tracks effects on the local economy.
