Mr. Crawford reminisces about his life as a race horse trainer, how he was nicknamed, years working for the Hickman Stables: recalls the Latonia Jockey Club Race Track, some of his experiences there, capturing polecats (skunks), a snake called "Swampy Charlie" that lived in the Latonia track pond: remembers back side personnel, jockeys trainers and owners and how some of them received their nicknames: he talks about the pets that used to be at the tracks, tells stories about some of them.
