S. Senator (1951-1957) Earl C. Clements (1896-1985), Senator Clements personality: reminisces about effort to stop gambling in Northern Kentucky, names individuals and political leaders involved in the effort: recalls concerts sponsored by the Kentucky Post newspaper at the Devou Park Amphitheater: speaks of the efforts to have the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Center located in Covington and to have a community college (Now Northern Kentucky University) located in the area.
