Martin elaborates on the work of the KCHR in the 70s, the suit that led to the Louisville Desegregation Plan, the periodic reports the KCHR issued for strategic purposes, efforts to promote Black history in the schools, complaints solicited and litigated, and development of a body of law to make psychic damages legitimate. He comments about various political leaders who gave strong support and those who did not.
