Oral history interviews with various residents of Wayne County, Kentucky, conducted by Western Kentucky University folk studies students in 1984. Topics include the oil industry, folk medicine, water witching, one-room schools and banjo playing. All of the interviews were recorded on cassette tape; some tapes have an accompanying index and/or transcription.
